PulsaCoil Stainless Steel By Gledhill
PulsaCoil Stainless Introduction
The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless was the latest system that replaces the PulsaCoil 1, 2, 3, 2000, A Class & BP. Now the Eco version is the latest system to replace this. It is a thermal store tank and not a conventional hot water immersion system. It comes with a PCB, sensors, 2 immersion elements, thermostat rods and header tank. It complies with building regulation and does not need an expansion vessel.
Why Buy The PulsaCoil Stainless?
Some customers are not happy with there previous Gledhill PulsaCoil system. We want to explain what is the difference and why the PulsaCoil Stainless is the best solution for you. The Gledhill PulsaCoil you may have is a PulsaCoil 1, 2, 3, 2000 or A Class. These were made by Gledhill Water Storage Ltd who went into liquidation. The new Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless is made by Gledhill Building Products Ltd. This is a different company and they have improved on the design and performance of the system. The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless combines all the positive parts of all the previous PulsaCoil models and removes all the negative parts. The PulsaCoil Stainless is made from stainless steal which does not readily corrode or rust as copper does. This increase the internal copper cylinder lifespan. It also weighs less then copper and is cheaper to manufacture which means customers get it at a better price then previous PulsaCoil systems. The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless also uses a plate heat exchanger unlike the previous PulsaCoil 1, 2, 3 & BP. The major advantage with this to you is that if the heat exchanger becomes contaminated it can be replaced. Internal coiled heat exchangers cannot and usually result in replacing the cylinder. The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless uses the same PCB as the PulsaCoil A Class which is more reliable then the PulsaCoil 2000 PCB and offers many more advantages and features like displayed diagnostics which helps in better diagnosing faults on the system if the occur and temperature readings at each sensor point. (This has recently changed and now a new PCB is installed inside the system due to flow rate issues). The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless sensors have been designed to work like the PulsaCoil A Class sensors in order to reduce breakdowns. A common fault with the PulsaCoil 2000 sensors were they became faulty giving fluctuation in hot water temperature from hot cold to hot again then luke warm. The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless immersion elements are the same length of the PulsaCoil 3 but use the PulsaCoil 2000 thermostat rods to control the temperature inside the cylinder. This has two advantages, the first is it does not required an overheat stat because of the thermostat design, this results in less breakdowns. The other advantage is the PulsaCoil A Class use to overheat as a specific sensor failed causing steam which would then mean the entire system would have to be switched off. With this system that is not the case, the thermostat rods are more reliable. The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless does not use a relay contactor. This was a common part which failed and caught fire in the PulsaCoil A Class. By removing it, it has reduces the chances of fire damages ruining or causing your system to fail. The Gledhill PulsaCoil Stainless uses less components then the PulsaCoil 3, 2000 & A Class reducing the chances of a component failing. Less moving parts, less chances of faults.
