PulsaCoil ECO Stainless By Gledhill

PulsaCoil Eco Stainless by Gledhill is a thermal storage cylinder. It comes in three sizes. 150L, 180L and 220L. We keep these three in stock in case you need an urgent installation or replacement by us. Each size is recommended for specific sized apartments. High corrosion resistant stainless steel is used in manufacturing this model unlike the previous Pulsacoil 1, 3, 2000, A Class and BP. It is a mains pressured system which utilises off-peak electric and has been specifically designed for apartments. Also it eradicates that chances legionella. Each unit comes with the following:

• Two Thermostat Rods Which Reach 75°C
• Plated Heat Exchanger
• Economical ErP Ready Pump
• Overheat Sensor
• PulsaCoil Eco Specific Flow Sensor

• Header Tank With Built On Site Glass
• Drain Off Valve

This system provides on demand hot water with a reduced delivery time of up to 75% with the introduction of the ErP ready pump, new software and pump speed control board. Giving you hot water faster than previous models. Unlike previous versions with a plated heat exchanger and a pump, the Gledhill Pulsacoil Eco Stainless has been striped to it bare essentials. This helps in reducing breakdowns and faults. Saving you money and inconvenience in the long term. So no more overheat stats tripping, relays burning, din rail assembly or relpol relay. It also overcomes the requirement The Building Regulations 2010 Approved Document G which means its a straight forward switch form your previous Pulsacoil 1, 3, 2000, A Class, BP or Stainless to this new one. Also building control does not need to be notified as a discharge pipe is not needed. Gledhill PulsaCoil Eco 150 Model Selection

The Pulsacoil Eco 150 can work in the following apartment sizes as specified by the manufacturer. 1-2 Bedroom, with 1 bathroom or en-suite shower room. This can be on a standard economy-7 tariff or economy-10 tariff. 2-3 Bedroom, with 1 bathroom and 1 en-suite shower room. This can be on a standard economy-7 tariff or economy-10 tariff. 2-3 Bedroom, with 1 bathroom and 2 en-suite shower room. This can be on a economy-10 tariff only.

 

PulsaCoil Eco Stainless 150 Notes By Gledhill

1. Plastic top up cistern will be supplied separately and is not included in the measurements. We recommend it be installed directly on the Pulsacoil Eco Stainless if possible.
2. The flow rates are based on a 35°C  temperature and assume that recommended pressures and adequate flow are available at the appliance. The actual flow rate from the appliance is automatically regulated o a maximum of 15 litres/min.
3. Pulsacoil Eco Stainless is supplied on a 100mm high installation base which is not included in the above measurements and is recommended to be installed upon.
4. The domestic hot water outlet temperature is automatically regulated to approximately 52°C, and the temperature is not user adjustable.

Additional Note:

The PulsaCoil Eco systems may come with either an immersion element with built on secondary cut out or with no built on secondary cut. The system with an element provided with no built on secondary cut out is classed as an upgrade and should be requested. Additional costs may incur depending on supplier.
